Craig has a Master’s Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics from the University of Wollongong, a Graduate Certificate in Health Sciences (in Human Nutrition) from Deakin University majoring in sports nutrition, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in physiology, biochemistry and microbiology from the University of Western Sydney.

No, you don’t need a referral from your doctor. If you have complex medical conditions it may be worth getting a referral from your doctor. From the period of April 2020 to September 2020 you may be eligible for a medicare rebate if you have a chronic health condition. To access this rebate you would need a medicare CDM care plan referral from your doctor emailed prior to the consultation. These cannot be backdated. If you have one of these referrals use the initial booking for this that says if you have a GP CDM referral/plan.
No, consultations are not bulk billed. Payment for your consultation is done upfront to allow your dietitian to spend more time consulting with you about your specific condition. You will need to pay for your consult prior to claiming any rebates. Your dietitian is registered with all major private health funds and government rebates. Your rebate depends on your level of cover and type of referral. Please check your health fund prior to booking if you have any concerns.
You will receive the same evidence based expert dietetic advice as you would face to face. I use clinically validated software called coviu which is a secure consulting platform that doesn’t require software, downloads or plug-ins. Your appointment reminder will be sent in a link which you can click on a few minutes before your appointment.

All consultations are in Australian Eastern standard time.
Initial consultations are $180 and typically go for 45 minutes – an hour
Review consultations are $120 for 30-45 minutes.
If you require a meal plan there is an additional cost for preparing this. Please discuss this with your dietitian at your initial appointment.
You will be sent an email with a intake form to fill out and a consent form for telehealth to complete and return prior to your appointment, and a access reminder link will be sent to your email for your coviu online telehealth appointment. Cancellation fees apply with less than 48 hrs notice of cancellation.
